Govt scraps appeal tribunal against Censor board steps

The film fraternity has expressed disappointment over the government’s decision to disband the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal (FCAT), an appellate authority that filmmakers approached to challenge decisions taken by the Central Board of Film Certification, more popularly known as the censor board.
