Ladakh cancels popular winter tourist activities

The Ladakh administration has cancelled the popular winter tourist activities such as Chadar trek and snow leopard sighting expeditions slated for January as a precaution against Omicron virus as the highly contagious – but seemingly less deadly – variant of Covid-19 infection spreads.
