Government proposes 30 documents as proof for DLs, RCs

Soon, you will be able to get a driving licence or get your vehicle registered by submitting documents other than Aadhaar, voter ID card or passport. The road transport ministry has proposed to expand the list of acceptable documents for proof of identity, address and age to 30 to get a licence or registration certificate.
